1.What is elevator light curtain
The elevator light curtain is a light-type safety protection device, suitable for passenger elevators and freight elevators to protect the safety of passengers. Special signal cables are composed of four major departments. There are 32 (16) infrared transmitting tubes in the transmitter. Under the control of MCA, the transmitting and receiving tubes are turned on in sequence, and the car door area is continuously scanned from top to bottom to form a dense infrared protection light curtain. When the beam of light is blocked, the control system immediately outputs the door opening signal, and the car door stops closing and opens in reverse. The elevator door can be closed normally until the passenger or the obstacle leaves the warning area, so as to achieve the purpose of protecting the safety of the passengers.
2.The working principle of elevator light curtain
One side of the elevator light curtain is installed with multiple infrared emitting tubes at equal intervals, and the other side has the same number and same arrangement of infrared receiving tubes. Each infrared emitting tube has a corresponding infrared receiving tube and is installed in the same straight line superior. When there is no obstacle between the infrared transmitting tube and the infrared receiving tube on the same line, the modulated signal (optical signal) sent by the infrared transmitting tube can reach the infrared receiving tube smoothly. After the infrared receiving tube receives the modulation signal, the corresponding internal circuit outputs a low level, and in the case of obstacles, the modulation signal (optical signal) sent by the infrared transmitting tube cannot reach the infrared receiving tube smoothly. When no object passes through the light curtain, the modulated signals (optical signals) sent by all infrared transmitting tubes can smoothly reach the corresponding infrared receiving tubes on the other side, so that all internal circuits output low level. 3.How to Test Light Curtains

After about 1 second, the yellow indicator light of the transmitter is stable, and the indicator lights of the receiver are all off, indicating that the light curtain sensor is in normal operation. working status.
4. How to install light curtain
1.Tools and materials: hand drill, test pen multimeter, Phillips screwdriver, flat-blade screwdriver, cable ties, diagonal pliers, mobile power strip, new light curtain, etc.② Check whether the transmitter and receiver of the elevator safety light curtain are accurately assembled with their respective cables, and whether the cable terminals are accurately and firmly connected to the power supply and control unit
③ Power on the elevator safety light curtain sensor. At this time, the light curtain sensor starts self-checking, synchronization and self-calibration. After about 1 second, the yellow indicator light of the transmitter is stable, and the indicator lights of the receiver are all off, indicating that the light curtain sensor is in normal operation. working status.
4. How to install light curtain

3. The installation process of the new light curtain is as follows:
A. Cut off the elevator power and remove the old light curtain or safety touch panel, power box and signal cable.
B. Install light curtain strip:
Rules: The distance between the two light curtain strips is not less than 6mm when the door is closed, and the distance between the lower part of the light curtain and the sill of the car door is 2~10mm, the height difference between the two light curtains is not more than 1mm, and the verticality is not more than 2m.

B. Install light curtain strip:

Power on the elevator in the maintenance state, and observe the power indicator light through the shielding method to see if it responds normally. Finally, confirm that the elevator can reopen the door by blocking the light curtain when the elevator is in the automatic running state.
