The Kone KDL16S elevator drive has been developed to replace the aging fleet of Kone V3F16S drives, with full refurbishment capability NDC Elevator Drives can diagnose, repair and test the Kone KDL16S and ensure your drive works when re-installed. Similar to the Kone KDL16L the KDL16S utilizes encoder feedback as well as independent brake control, giving increased efficiency, and a smoother ride. Unlike other Kone V3F and Kone KDL elevator drives, the main braking resistor is built into the main body of the drive to reduce footprint. Although the Kone KDL16S is quite rare NDC Elevator Drives have repaired and exchanged a number of these drives throughout Western Europe.
